ChurchHealth Vision Statement

 Our vision is to work with pastors and church leaders around the world and to promote spiritual and organizational health in the body of Christ. We have a personal, corporate, and community emphasis in our ministry. Our vision is realized by focusing on four primary strategies:

• Personal Counseling. We do not operate a counseling center, but in the course of our ministry we are often called upon to assume the role of counselor to pastors and church leaders. We are available by phone, fax, or email for long distance counseling. Formal counseling beyond what we offer and by a trained professional is by referral. We have formed partnerships with trained professionals for intensive therapeutic interventions. In some cases we serve with them on site in a counseling/consulting team.
• Pastoral Coaching. We coach pastors and lay leaders in personal and pastoral renewal. Our primary vehicle for this aspect in the Focusing Leader  and Focused Living  processes. In addition, we offer coaching on a number of specific issues.
• Parish Consulting. Our primary focus in on helping churches achieve health, which we believe will result in the effectiveness of the congregation in fulfilling it's mission. We go on site to come alongside of pastors and churches. We also facilitate formal networks of pastors and churches utilizing the ReFocusing Your Church  materials and methods, as well as our own resources. In some cases we serve as a mediator for conflicts between pastors and their staff or board.
• Public Consultations. Our ultimate vision as part of a broader renewal team is to see communities transformed. We have chosen to focus on being a transformational influence in our own community in issues of aging and older adult ministry. That impact is now being shared at a national and denominational level through our speaking and seminar work on the theme "Unleashing the Power of Age: 1) In Your Life 2) In Your Congregation 3) In Your Community.
