• ConvergeWorldWide (Baptist General Conference). The BGC has contracted with Lifetime Ministries of ChurchHealth and the Bergstroms to develop a training model for leaders in Age 50+ ministries and to coordinate the ministry of "2nd 1/2 4 Him" in the BGC. A training event for "District Champions" was held February 4-7, 2004 in Phoenix, and subsequent events have been held in many of the BGC Districts. An annual leadership training conference is held in conjunction with the BGC Annual Meeting/Renewal Conference. The Bergstroms are available to bring this training into each of the 13 districts of the BGC for district level training of "Church Champions" in "2nd 1/2 4 Him" ministries.

• Church Resource Ministries. CRM is headquartered in Anaheim, California. They offer a number of tools which we have found helpful in resourcing pastors and local churches, including the Focusing Leader Network material, and the ReFocusing Your Church material. The network model developed by CRM is being utilized extensively throughout the Pacific Northwest amongst those individuals and organizations which are a part of the strategic alliance described in this section.   Dr. Richard Bergstrom served from 1999-2001 on assignment from ChurchHealth as the Interim District Executive Minister of the Columbia Baptist Conference, and continues to work alongside other other age 50+ ministers within ConvergeWorldwide.
